For potatoes with meat and herbs in a pot you will need:
- 500 g potatoes
- 300 g beef (or other meat of your choice)
- 1 onion
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- Fresh herbs (dill, parsley)
- Salt pepper
- 2 tbsp. spoons of vegetable oil
- 200 ml thick yoghurt or sour cream
Are the ingredients ready? Then let’s start cooking!
- Cut the beef into cubes and fry in vegetable oil in a frying pan until golden brown.
- Finely chop the onion and chop the garlic. Add them to the browned beef and fry everything together for another 2-3 minutes.
- Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. Transfer the fried meat, onion and garlic into a clay pot, add potatoes, salt and pepper, and stir.
- Fill the pot with yogurt or sour cream.
- Close the pot tightly with a lid and place in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 1.5-2 hours.
- Once the potatoes are soft, serve the dish sprinkled with fresh, finely chopped herbs.
